Location of sensors in Land Rover Discovery
- EGR valve location
In this engine there are 2 EGR valves the High pressure EGR valve and low pressure EGR valve. In transverse engine layout the low pressure EGR valve is connected to the turbocharger and the high pressure EGR valve is located below the low pressure EGR valve. It’s located behind the engine on the right side.

If you check the oil dipstick, there’s a pipe with thermal heat shield sleeve around it it’s connected to the high pressure EGR valve which is located behind the engine on the right side.
The Low Pressure EGR valve is connected to the turbocharger which is located on the right side of the engine.
