    I have a 2004 Toyota carry and a 2004 Toyota sienna I am trying to tune. I have the kess3, but it won't read either car. Do you have any suggestions?

    For the 2004 Toyota Camry and the 2004 Toyota Sienna, it’s pretty common that KESS3 can’t read them directly. Many of those older Toyota ECUs don’t support OBD reading on KESS3, and sometimes even bench/boot isn’t available, depending on the exact ECU version.

    The best first step is to check the ECU model (a photo of the ECU label helps a lot). Once we know the exact ECU ID, we can confirm if KESS3 supports it or if another tool (like K‑TAG, PCM Flash, or a different protocol) is needed.
